Simple Serving Recipe — Turmeric Chicken Curry

Ingredients

• Chicken — 500 g
• Desi Regime Turmeric Powder — ½ tsp
• Onion — 1 medium, chopped
• Tomatoes — 2 medium, chopped
• Ginger-garlic paste — 1 tbsp
• Cooking oil — 3 tbsp
• Salt — to taste
• Water — as required

Method

1. Heat oil and cook the onion until softened.
2. Add ginger-garlic paste and sauté briefly.
3. Add tomatoes, turmeric powder and salt. Cook until the tomatoes soften.
4. Add chicken and mix well.
5. Add water as required, cover and cook until the chicken is thoroughly cooked.
6. Serve hot with roti, naan or rice.

Serves: Approximately 3–4 people, depending on portion size.
