Aromatic Dried Fenugreek Leaves for Authentic Indian & Pakistani Cooking

Simple Serving Recipe — Creamy Methi Chicken
Ingredients
- Chicken — 500 g
- Desi Regime Kasuri Methi — 1 tbsp, crushed
- Yogurt — ½ cup
- Onion — 1 medium, finely chopped
- Tomato — 1 medium, chopped
- Ginger-garlic paste — 1 tbsp
- Cooking oil — 3 tbsp
- Salt — to taste
- Red chilli powder — ½ tsp
- Water — as required
Method
- Heat oil and sauté the onion until softened.
- Add ginger-garlic paste and cook briefly.
- Add tomato, salt and red chilli powder. Cook until softened.
- Add chicken and cook until well coated.
- Add yogurt and mix well.
- Add water as required, cover and cook until the chicken is thoroughly cooked.
- Crush the Kasuri Methi between your palms and add it during the final few minutes of cooking.
- Simmer briefly and serve hot with naan, roti or rice.
Serves: Approximately 3–4 people, depending on portion size.
